We are very specific about the type of Hammond we will restore, and if we find that the potentials are there, we spare no expense at making it the most beautiful instrument we can. The cabinet is completely gutted and finished in either original or custom coloring. The tone generator is serviced to perfect working order, with the vibrato scanner rebuilt for stability, and low frequency crosstalk is filtered out for purer tone. The manuals are restored to a buttery feel by replacing hardened felts and key guides as necessary. Deep, beautiful spring reverb is installed, as well as a driver processor for gain, treble, and bass controls. Leslie switching is installed directly into the lower cheekblock, so there is no switch block hanging off the front of the organ. These organs are incredible machines, and we take pride in their stable operation and superior sound.
We carry Leslies of all sizes and colors, and all of them are thoroughly rebuilt for quiet and stable operation. All of the bearings, belts, ISO grommets, and rotor bag are replaced. The motors are completely rebuilt with new internal parts as necessary in order to run as quiet and stable as possible. The high frequency driver is thoroughly checked for any buzzing associated with certain frequencies and is replaced as necessary. The woofers are either new or re-coned speakers. We rebuild Leslies so that they can be sonically beautiful while still running mechanically silent.
